Beth Madison, CEBS, CPCU, FLMI, CLU
President of Madison Benefits Group, Inc., Beth has more than thirty years of employee benefits experience, including positions as: National Account Executive with Connecticut General; principal in Insurance Benefit Services, a third-party administrator for self-funded employer plans; and founder of Houstoun Woodard & Madison, Inc. brokerage services firm. Specializing in large account management, she concentrates on self-insured programs and designing cost-effective benefit structures. She has an extensive background in coordinating multi-benefit plans in merger/acquisition environments. Throughout her career, Beth has focused on enhancing the value of benefit packages, with emphasis on client corporate objectives, efficient administrative processes and effective employee communication.
In 1985, she co–founded Houstoun, Woodard & Madison, Inc, and later spun off the benefit practice to create an organization dedicated solely to employer plans. The firm was renamed Madison Benefits Group in 1989. Since that time, she has overseen the agency’s growth to one of the largest employee benefit specialty firms in the region.
Beth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Houston. In addition to being a Fellow of the Life Management Institute, she has served on the Board of Chartered Life Underwriters, and as President and Board member of the Houston Estate Financial Forum. Currently she sits on the Board of the Houston Symphony; Board member of the Houston Grand Opera; the Greater Houston Preservation Alliance; President of the World Affairs Council of Houston; the Advisory Board for Baylor College of Medicine Teen Clinic; Board of Trustees for the University of Houston Moores School of Music Society; and Opera in the Heights.
